Every fall for the last decade and a half, we have opened our cellar doors for a rare opportunity to taste a limited selection of our small production red wines still aging in oak barrels during our annual Futures program. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to change the Futures tasting program. This year, the six Futures wines will be available in a tasting kit which can be delivered to the 35 states where we currently ship.
We are very excited to announce the reopening of our tasting room on July 10, 2020! In order to provide a safe and excellent experience, we will be accepting customers by reservation only and asking guests to follow our tasting room and gazebo rules while visiting our estate.
The Biodynamic Calendar allows farmers to proactively focus their work on the part of the plant that is most responsive on a day to day basis. The calendar breaks down each day as a fruit, flower, leaf, or root day, the four main components of a plant. We have added a symbol to the top of our website to easily show you the type of day.
Beckmen Vineyards consists of two separate vineyards with dramatically different soils and climates. We have created two maps of each of our vineyards to help our customers better understand how our wines were crafted. One version of the maps shows the various plantings of varietal clones and rootstocks, the other version lists the final wine the grapes are sourced for. These maps were just updated in February 2020.
