After receiving great feedback on our Zoom Futures tastings, we have decided to continue with an expanded virtual tasting program year-round. While we cannot 100% replicate the experience of visiting our property in Los Olivos, we have designed a personally curated tasting program that brings the images of our vineyards and winery into your home.
Every fall for the last decade and a half, we have opened our cellar doors for a rare opportunity to taste a limited selection of our small production red wines still aging in oak barrels during our annual Futures program. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to change the Futures tasting program. This year, the six Futures wines will be available in a tasting kit which can be delivered to the 35 states where we currently ship.
We are very excited to announce the reopening of our tasting room on July 10, 2020! In order to provide a safe and excellent experience, we will be accepting customers by reservation only and asking guests to follow our tasting room and gazebo rules while visiting our estate.
We were proud to continue supporting the farm workers and their families of Santa Barbara County’s wine industry, Direct Relief International, and Community Health Centers at the 11th Santa Barbara Wine Auction! As a table host — and previous sponsor — we loved seeing how our community can rise together to help those in need, specifically when it comes to healthcare services.
We were honored when Honest Cooking’s Annelise Mcauliffe tasted and reviewed our new release 2018 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache Rosé for her Easter food and wine pairing article. Read on to discover which dish was paired with our rosé!

At Beckmen Vineyards, with our four gazebos and two ponds surrounded by lawns, we’ve done our fair share of picnicking. Read on to learn our tips and tricks, food ideas, and nearby places to pick up your goodies.
When a food is paired well with a wine, having a bite of food will make you want a sip of wine, and having a sip of wine will make you want a bite of food. You experience a wonderful seesaw reaction between the combining flavors. Finding this reaction is easy when you remember the 10 commandments below.
