    The 2020 Grenache Los Olivos Dis­trict is the most com­plete of the three Grenach­es in the range. Sweet red berry fruit, kirsch, orange peel, laven­der and new leather fill out the mid-palate beau­ti­ful­ly. I love the puri­ty of the fruit. This is a fine showing.

    The translu­cent ruby-hued 2020 Grenache Estate is all destemmed Grenache that was aged in 40% new bar­rels. It gives up a juicy array of ripe straw­ber­ries and rasp­ber­ries as well as pep­pery herbs and spice. This car­ries to a medi­um-bod­ied, ele­gant Grenache with fine tan­nins, ter­rif­ic bal­ance, and a great fin­ish. It shows the more ele­gant, pret­ty, almost Pinot Noir side to the vari­ety while still being clas­sic Grenache.
