2020 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache

A WOW vintage of this wine that harkens back to some of the greatest ever (2001, 2003, 2008, and 2012). The 2020 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache is explosive, rich, textural with massive structure (tannins and acid), and amazing potential for long term ageing. Bright yet jammy aromas and flavors of raspberry, kirsch, pomegranate, and cherry build a layered palate of fruit with roasted herbs, mineral, and white pepper notes in the background adding even more depth and complexity. This wine is stunning and will go down as one of the finest we have ever bottled. Youthful right now (decanting is suggested in the short term), the wine will age effortlessly for the next 20+ years.
