A Private Event for Beckmen Members

We invite our win­ery mem­bers to enjoy a wine tast­ing flight, pick-up any orders, and savor a fun day of activ­i­ties around our vine­yard and inside the win­ery on Sat­ur­day, May 11^th from 11am — 5pm. Choose from an 11am Cail­loux Cheese & Wine Pair­ing Flight (sold out), Bar­rel Tast­ings (sold out), a 2pm Dog Walk Through the Vine­yard, or a 3pm Clay Pot­tery Class: Grape Leaf Vase! A com­pli­men­ta­ry piz­za lunch will be served from noon-2pm.

Each win­ery mem­ber is allowed two tick­ets. Addi­tion­al tick­ets can be pur­chased for $20 per per­son, which includes a wine tast­ing and piz­za lunch. If guests join the Wine Club, this fee is refund­ed. If guests want to attend the spe­cial activ­i­ties, the exist­ing win­ery mem­ber must reg­is­ter for the guest.

Dogs and chil­dren are wel­come at the event, how­ev­er, no dogs are allowed in the Bar­rel Tast­ing experience.

11am — 5pm | Wine Tasting

Vis­it any­time from 11am — 5pm to taste through the new Quar­ter 2 releas­es and some of your favorite Beck­men wines. Tables and gaze­bos are all first-come, first served. Some pic­nic blan­kets are avail­able, but you’re wel­come to bring your own!

11am | Cheese & Wine Pairing Flight with Cailloux Cheese Shop (Sold Out)

Join our res­i­dent som­me­li­er and Tast­ing Room Man­ag­er, Kip, and Regine from Solvang’s pop­u­lar Cail­loux Cheese Shop for an infor­ma­tive cheese and wine pair­ing expe­ri­ence. This per­fect­ly paired flight of five wines and five cheeses will be shared on our low­er patio, begin­ning prompt­ly at 11am. Advanced reg­is­tra­tion required.

11:30am — 1:45pm | Barrel Tastings (SOLD OUT)

Assis­tant Wine­mak­er Rory Bald­win will be offer­ing a spe­cial two-wine bar­rel tast­ing, thieved direct­ly from the bar­rels into your glass! Taste the same wine that has been aging in two dif­fer­ent oak bar­rels to learn how bar­rel aging affects a wine. 

Each tast­ing will last rough­ly 30 min­utes and be lim­it­ed to 12 peo­ple per group, inside our large bar­rel room (tan building).

Tast­ing Times: 11:30am, 12:15pm, 1pm, 1:45pm

2pm | Dog Walk Through the Vineyard SOLD OUT

It’s no secret we love dogs here at Beck­men Vine­yards. Let your dog join the Mem­ber­ship Par­ty fun and take them on a walk­ing tour of our estate vine­yard, led by Tay­lor, our Assis­tant Gen­er­al Man­ag­er. The walk will be on uneven grav­el and dirt paths around our Caber­net, Syrah, and Grenache grapevines, and last approx­i­mate­ly 30 min­utes. Please wear appro­pri­ate shoes. Dogs must remain leashed the entire walk. Advanced reg­is­tra­tion required.

3pm | Clay Pottery Workshop: Grape Leaf Vase REGISTRATION CLOSED

Walk through the vine­yard to pick your favorite Grenache, Syrah, or Caber­net grape leaves, then turn them into a beau­ti­ful clay vase with the help­ful guid­ance of Veron­i­ca from Com­mu­ni­ty Clay­works. No pre­vi­ous pot­tery expe­ri­ence nec­es­sary! Enjoy wines and vine­yard views as you sculpt at one of our pri­vate gaze­bos. The class will begin prompt­ly at 3pm and last until rough­ly 5pm. Advanced reg­is­tra­tion required.
