While it would be great to have perfect weather all the time, the heat spikes in 2020 proved challenging to both our vines and our winemaking team. Risked with the possibility of losing some of our most valued crop, the 2020 Block Eight Rosé and 2020 Block Six Rosé rose like a Phoenix out of the ashes. Many thanks to our winemaking team and crew for turning what would have been raisins into epic Rosé wines.

After 25 years, we are thrilled to bring Sangiovese back into our portfolio with the very limited release of the 2018 Santa Ynez Valley Sangiovese. Only 225 cases were produced, and since we last bottled this wine back in 1996, you’ll have to act fast to enjoy this wine. Only $24 per bottle when purchased as a case special.

We are very excited to announce the reopening of our tasting room on Friday, February 5. We will be open for outdoor wine tastings and gazebo reservations from 11am — 6pm Friday — Sunday, and Wednesdays for Wine Club members only. We will remain open for curbside pick-up every day of the week.

It has been five years since we have released a wine under our value driven label Big Hands. The most obvious question is why haven’t any of these wines been produced?
