2022 SYV Grenache: Complex aromas and flavors of bright red fruits, spice, and a savory note that is not typical of this bottling, the 2022 SYV Grenache excels from this vintage. Plush and round on the palate with fine tannins that frame the expressive flavors, this wine has great lift both on the nose and on the palate. Drinking beautifully now, this wine should age gracefully over the next decade. Made entirely from Grenache grapes grown on our certified biodynamic Purisima Mountain Vineyard.
2022 Estate Grenache: One of the finest releases of the Estate Grenache, the 2022 has the typical big, bright red fruits of the wine but also shows additional complexity of bakers spice and white pepper. Big upon entry, the wine is broad and round yet very lively and balanced by good acidity (higher than normal in 2022 for this wine). The finish is a highlight with incredible length showing off waves of red fruits and spices. A big but very refined vintage of the Estate Grenache, this is one of the best Estate Grenache releases ever and should age beautifully for the next 12-15 years or more.
