2022 SYV Cabernet Sauvignon
Picked under beautiful conditions in October 2022, the grapes survived the long, dry, hot summer and produced a stunning wine that shows great ripeness and opulence backed by great acidity. Cassis, black cherry, licorice, chocolate, and roasted espresso leap from the glass and coat the mouth in the 2022 SYV Cabernet Sauvignon. Round through the mouth, the wine finishes with great length and juicy acidity. Ready to drink now, the wine will age well for the next decade or more!
2023 SYV Grenache Blanc
Harvested on the late side like everything else in 2023, this vintage of Grenache Blanc has vibrant and lifted aromas and flavors of candied lemon, white peach, pear, green herbs, and salty minerality. Generous in the mouth, the wine’s focused flavors glide along the palate, with a long finish and juicy acidity. Drink this now and over the next 4-5 years or longer.
2022 SYV Grenache
Complex aromas and flavors of bright red fruits, spice, and a savory note that is not typical of this bottling, the 2022 SYV Grenache excels from this vintage. Plush and round on the palate with fine tannins that frame the expressive flavors, this wine has great lift both on the nose and on the palate. Drinking beautifully now, this wine should age gracefully over the next decade. Made entirely from Grenache grapes grown on our certified biodynamic Purisima Mountain Vineyard.
