Join Steve Beck­men for a guid­ed win­ter hike through Purisi­ma Moun­tain Vine­yard — San­ta Bar­bara County’s first cer­ti­fied bio­dy­nam­ic vine­yard, as well as one of the largest bio­dy­nam­ic estates in Cal­i­for­nia. Dur­ing the vineyard’s dor­mant sea­son, we’ll explore how this qui­eter time of year plays a crit­i­cal role in soil health, vine bal­ance and the long-term expres­sion of our wines — and why win­ter mat­ters just as much as harvest.

Fol­low­ing the hike, enjoy sips from Purisi­ma Moun­tain Vine­yard as Steve shares what it means to live on and care for this land dai­ly, stew­ard­ing the soil and encour­ag­ing an ever-diver­si­fy­ing ecosystem.
