2020 Big Hands Cabernet Sauvignon Santa Barbara County

This is a story of some misplaced barrels of 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon that were set aside for a private label project that never happened. Once it was clear the project was over we decided it would be a perfect release for Big Hands. Aged for a whopping 42 months in 100% neutral French oak barrels, this wine, from a great Cabernet vintage, screams Cabernet Sauvignon with great purity of flavor and aroma. Amazing a little tight upon opening, the wine opens up quickly showing classic Cabernet aromas and flavors of dark cherry, cocoa powder, currant, leather, and spice. The mouth is round and generous with some fine tannins on the finish that frame the ripe fruit flavors. A great wine for an amazing price. It should age beautifully for 10+ years.
