This exclu­sive two-hour walk­ing tour, led by wine­mak­er Steve Beck­men, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the land that defines our wines.

Guests will stroll among the vines of our cer­ti­fied bio­dy­nam­ic vine­yard, learn­ing about our farm­ing prac­tices, the his­to­ry of the Beck­men fam­i­ly, and the deep con­nec­tion between soil, sun, and grape.

Take in panoram­ic views of the San­ta Ynez Val­ley, say hel­lo to our res­i­dent cows and ani­mals, and end your jour­ney with a casu­al brunch and wine.

Please note: This is a rig­or­ous walk­ing tour last­ing approx­i­mate­ly 2 hours, with uneven ter­rain and lim­it­ed shade. Appro­pri­ate footwear and sun pro­tec­tion are strong­ly rec­om­mend­ed. It is rec­om­mend­ed that you bring a water bottle.

Can I bring my dog?

We love dogs — but for this event, no pets are allowed due to the nature of the ter­rain and the struc­ture of the tour.

What about kids?

Chil­dren are wel­come at your dis­cre­tion. Please keep in mind that this is more of a hike than a walk, with lim­it­ed shade and warm sum­mer tem­per­a­tures. If your child (or teen) is up for a vig­or­ous walk on uneven, hilly ter­rain for up to two hours, they’re wel­come to join.

Is this tour suitable for everyone?

The tour cov­ers steep, rugged ter­rain with lit­tle shade and no seat­ing along the route. We strong­ly rec­om­mend that all atten­dees — regard­less of age — feel com­fort­able walk­ing uphill on uneven ground in the sum­mer sun. Good shoes, sun pro­tec­tion, and water are a must.
