Heart of Beckmen: A Rare Purisima Mountain Vineyard Tour
Sunday, August 31st | 9 AM – 12 PM
$100 per person | $70 per club member
Join us for an unforgettable morning on Purisima Mountain Vineyard, one of the most iconic and rarely opened properties in Santa Barbara wine country. This exclusive two-hour walking tour, led by winemaker Steve Beckmen, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the land that defines our wines.
Guests will stroll among the vines of our certified biodynamic vineyard, learning about our farming practices, the history of the Beckmen family, and the deep connection between soil, sun, and grape.
Take in panoramic views of the Santa Ynez Valley, say hello to our resident cows and animals, and end your journey with a casual brunch and wine.
Spots are extremely limited for this special event — reserve yours today.
Please note: This is a rigorous walking tour lasting approximately 2 hours, with uneven terrain and limited shade. Appropriate footwear and sun protection are strongly recommended. It is recommended that you bring a water bottle.
Additional Information
Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs — but for this event, no pets are allowed due to the nature of the terrain and the structure of the tour.
What about kids?
Children are welcome at your discretion. Please keep in mind that this is more of a hike than a walk, with limited shade and warm summer temperatures. If your child (or teen) is up for a vigorous walk on uneven, hilly terrain for up to two hours, they’re welcome to join.
Is this tour suitable for everyone?
The tour covers steep, rugged terrain with little shade and no seating along the route. We strongly recommend that all attendees — regardless of age — feel comfortable walking uphill on uneven ground in the summer sun. Good shoes, sun protection, and water are a must. (We’ll have water for you also!) If you have mobility concerns, please contact us before booking: marketing@beckmenvineyards.com
What happens after the tour?
We’ll gather for a casual vineyard brunch and wine, hosted in a shaded area. It’s the perfect chance to relax, cool off, and enjoy wines from the very land you just explored.
