Our first Grenache Blanc release for our 1NGREDIENT wines, the 2021 has a clear, golden honeyed color and modest alcohol at 13.2%. Underbrush, wildflower honey, apple, orange blossom and fresh ginger aromas reveal themselves with some air. The palate shows powerful structure and tannins that wrap around the flavors of apple skin, almond, dried orange pith, Meyer lemon, candied citrus and powdered ginger. Evolving minerality lingers on the long floral finish. Full-bodied, well structured and balanced, this is a great introduction to an unfiltered “orange” wine. The wine needs some time to open up so decanting when young is recommended. The wine should age well for the next 15+ years. Crafted from 100% certified biodynamic grapes.
