2021 Graciano Santa Ynez Valley
Our first ever Graciano is a terrific wine and something completely different from our usual releases for the membership. Garrigue, roasted herbs, figs, dried figs, cured meats, caramel, cherry, and a touch of blue fruits are expressed throughout the aromas and flavors of this wine. This very complex wine has elegant, round texture, medium weight, and good balanced acidity with a long finish where the tannins show up and lengthen the back end. Fun, interesting, and delicious, the Graciano should drink well for a decade or more.
