2017 Fall Wine Releases

Once a quar­ter, we release four new wines. The wines are first released to our Wine Club mem­bers at a dis­count­ed rate, and then to the gen­er­al pub­lic the fol­low­ing sea­son at the full price. Shar­ing our wines for the first time after the years of hard work and ded­i­ca­tion is excit­ing, and we hope you enjoy drink­ing them as much as we enjoyed craft­ing them!

We are hon­ored to announce our fall wine release of 2017:

2016 Santa Ynez Valley Sauvignon Blanc

A Hap­py Canyon AVA and Bal­lard Canyon AVA blend of 100% Sauvi­gnon Blanc, this tank fer­ment­ed wine is crisp, clean, and deli­cious. Trop­i­cal and cit­rus aro­mas define the aro­mat­ics with bright acid­i­ty and min­er­al fla­vors high­light­ing the palate. 2016 Santa Ynez Valley Grenache

Bright red fruits and spices jump out of the glass of the 2016 San­ta Ynez Val­ley Grenache. A blend of grapes from Purisi­ma Moun­tain Vine­yard Block A #3 and the Win­ery Estate Vine­yard, the wine com­bines the struc­ture of Purisi­ma Moun­tain with the flesh of the Win­ery Estate. 2016 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Block Eight Grenache

Block 8 Grenache is back on track in 2016, an over­all ter­rif­ic vin­tage for Grenache, with explo­sive aro­mas and fla­vors of Bing cher­ry, straw­ber­ry, grena­dine, and spices. Full, rich, and round with the trade­mark note of acid­i­ty which keeps the wine live­ly, fresh and pure, the 2016 is my favorite vin­tage in the past few years of his wine. Drink now through 2025. 2015 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Syrah Block Six

Sav­ing the best for last, the final release of the 2015 red wines is the Block Six Syrah. Com­ing from per­haps the finest Syrah vin­tage ever at Beck­men and on Purisi­ma Moun­tain, the 2015 is loaded with rich, com­plex Syrah fla­vors and aro­mas. The impec­ca­ble bal­ance of the 2015 Syrah wines sets these wines apart from pre­vi­ous vin­tages. Rich and ample in fla­vor, yet bal­anced and ele­gant, the 2015 Block Six is out­stand­ing and one of the great­est Syrah wines we have pro­duced. Drink 2018 through 2032.
