2018 Summer Wine Releases

Once a quar­ter, we release four new wines. The wines are first released to our Wine Club mem­bers at a dis­count­ed rate, and then to the gen­er­al pub­lic the fol­low­ing sea­son at the full price. Shar­ing our wines for the first time after the years of hard work and ded­i­ca­tion is excit­ing, and we hope you enjoy drink­ing them as much as we enjoyed craft­ing them!

We are hon­ored to announce our 2018 sum­mer wine releases:

2017 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

Har­vest­ed from a steep lime­stone laden sec­tion of our Sauvi­gnon Blanc block on Purisi­ma Moun­tain Vine­yard, the 2017 vin­tage is loaded with aro­mas and fla­vors of pas­sion fruit, cit­rus fruits, pineap­ple, dried man­go, and white flow­ers. Very focused, with beau­ti­ful bal­ance and acid­i­ty, the wine is sleek and smooth with a vibrant, juicy, lengthy finish.

2017 Santa Ynez Valley Grenache

The 2017 San­ta Ynez Val­ley Grenache starts off with a big nose of rasp­ber­ry jam, molasses, and nut­meg, along with flo­ral aro­mas of vio­lets and laven­der. A mas­sive bar­rage of straw­ber­ry and rasp­ber­ry jam is fol­lowed by a well-round­ed core of juicy pome­gran­ate and spice. The fin­ish is long, with soft tan­nins and hints of thyme and white pepper.

2016 TLB

The 2016 TLB fea­tures expan­sive aro­mas of black cur­rant, cher­ry pie, and blue­ber­ry that are fol­lowed by rich scents of cedar, incense, choco­late, and vanil­la. The intense palate is filled with con­cen­trat­ed fla­vors of blue­ber­ry, plum, and ripe cher­ry that lead to a rich core of dark choco­late, anise, leather, and game. Plush in tex­ture and long on the fin­ish, the ripe tan­nins car­ry the fla­vors on and on. A blend of 85% Caber­net Sauvi­gnon and 15% Syrah.

2016 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Rich and com­plex, this vin­tage of our Estate Caber­net Sauvi­gnon shows lay­ers of fla­vors includ­ing black cher­ry, cas­sis, loamy earth, and spice with addi­tion­al accents of dark berry, tobac­co, and choco­late. Full bod­ied and rich with a creamy tex­ture that is bal­anced by great acid­i­ty, this young­ster drinks beau­ti­ful­ly now and will eas­i­ly age an addi­tion­al 20+ years!
