2026 Q2 Tasting Notes
Posted: Apr 6, 2026
Spring has arrived — and with it, a lineup of exciting Q2 releases. We’re especially thrilled to welcome back Le Bec Blanc for the first time since 2012, alongside the rare Syrah BB as a standalone bottling, and the ever-beloved TLB. It’s been incredible to see the Beckmen Social Club already in full swing, with both new and familiar faces joining us to share in the experience. We hope to see you again soon — especially at our Member’s Party on May 16th.
2025 Le Bec Blanc

66% Grenache Blanc/34% Viognier
It has been well over a decade since we have made a Le Bec Blanc, our blend of white Rhone varieties. From one of the coolest vintages we have ever had, the 25 LBB is singing with beautiful, outgoing aromas and flavors of white flowers, stone fruits, citrus and mineral. The mouth is round and seamless with nice acidity that carries the fruit and floral flavors across the very long finish. This is a great return of one of our long-time favorites, Le Bec Blanc, not produced since the 2012 vintage. This wine should drink beautifully over the next 7 – 10 years!

2021 PMV Syrah BB

It is rare for us to bottle the BB selection on its own. Typically reserved for our Own and PMV bottlings, this distinctive Syrah selection originates from cuttings sourced from a secret vineyard in the Northern Rhône.
The BB selection is known for its floral, savory character, and the 2021 vintage expresses this beautifully, with lifted aromas of rose, cracked pepper and dark fruit. On the palate, it is lighter in profile for our Syrah program, offering a round, seamless texture and a vibrant, energetic mouthfeel.
Bottle-aged for two years prior to release, this is a striking expression of the 2021 vintage. Enjoy now or over the next 5 – 7 years.

2023 TLB

The 2023 TLB is magical! Cabernet leads the way, with an array of aromas including violet, graphite, earthy loam, black currant, cassis, and a touch of blue fruit — a hallmark of cooler vintages.
The mouth is broad and round, with Syrah lending lift and energy, bringing a vibrant, juicy edge to the wine. Layers of black and blue fruit, spring wildflowers, spice, mocha, and violet are interwoven throughout the wine, framed by fine tannins and ample acidity that carry through a long, structured finish.
Showing beautifully today, this wine will continue to evolve gracefully over the next 20+ years
Los Olivos District AVA | $90
2024 PMV Grenache Libre

Seductive and precise, the 2024 Grenache Libre opens with aromas of fresh raspberry, strawberry, kirsch, licorice, spice, and a subtle gamey edge.
Vibrant on the palate, layers of red fruit and spice unfold with depth and concentration. Beautiful acidity and fine tannins provide structure and carry the wine through a long, expressive finish. Complex notes of white pepper, kirsch and framboise round out the flavors on the back end.
An outstanding vintage for our Grenache wines, the Libre is drinking beautifully upon release and will continue to age gracefully for 15+ years.

2023 EXP – 70% Syrah / 30% Mourvèdre

Another standout EXP blend from the 2023 vintage, this Syrah-dominant wine highlights the savory interplay between Syrah and Mourvèdre. Aromas and flavors of dark fruit, earth, black olive, spice and dried herbs define the profile.
Smooth and round across the palate, the wine shows beautiful balance, with integrated tannins and bright acidity that carry through a long, persistent finish.
Enjoy now or over the next decade.
