Welcome to our 2025 Future’s Pre-Sale Program
Our Futures Program began more than 20 years ago and has since grown into one of our most beloved annual sales events. The program is relatively unique to Beckmen, as few individual wineries have maintained a continuous Futures pre-sale program for as long as we have. It started as a way to welcome customers into our cellar and educate them about our wines by offering a sneak peek at upcoming releases prior to bottling. The first tastings were intimate gatherings held in the barrel room, where we would draw samples directly from the barrels using a wine thief.
The program has grown tremendously since those early days, and we now host a series of beautiful tastings both in person and virtually via Zoom. This year, the program has expanded to the point where half of the wines offered are crafted exclusively for Futures — very small-batch lots of our finest wines, produced in volumes of just 120 – 200 gallons. In 2025, these include the 2023 Purisima Red Wine, 2023 Thomas and Judith Beckmen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2024 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache Block Eight.
These special lots are joined by some of our most sought-after releases, including the TLB Red Wine, Purisima Mountain Vineyard Syrah Block Six, and Purisima Mountain Vineyard Syrah Clone 1—all of which will be featured in 2025. The opportunity to taste, learn, experience, and purchase our finest wines is available to our loyal customers and community through our Futures Pre-Sale Program.
We are very excited about the lineup of wines this year featuring mostly wines from 2023 and a couple from 2024. The vintages were very different from each other: 2023 was very wet and cool throughout the growing season, while 2024 was wet and then hot throughout the season. The 2023 wines will go down as some of the greatest from our estate vineyards — deep, rich, and structured, with the balance to age gracefully for years to come. By contrast, the 2024 wines are opulent, round, and crafted for more immediate enjoyment. While distinct in personality and expression, both vintages share the same exceptional quality that defines Beckmen wines.
