LA Times: Wine, etc.: Grenache is an underrated wine you should try

American wine drinkers are not as familiar with the Grenache varietal compared to people in Spain, France, and Italy. We hear it regularly in our winery’s tasting room, I’ve never had Grenache before!”, which is generally followed by, wow, this is delicious!”. Grenache is a cornerstone of our portfolio with over 35 acres planted on our two vineyards in Ballard Canyon AVA and Los Olivos District AVA.

Wine critics Tom Marquardt and Patrick Darr recently wrote an article about this underrated grape, first published in the Capital Gazette and later picked up by the Los Angeles Times. Discover which vintage of Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache they included in their round-up of recommended Grenache wines in Wine, etc.: Grenach is an underrated wine you should try”.
