LA Times: Wine, etc.: Grenache is an underrated wine you should try

Amer­i­can wine drinkers are not as famil­iar with the Grenache vari­etal com­pared to peo­ple in Spain, France, and Italy. We hear it reg­u­lar­ly in our win­ery’s tast­ing room, ​“I’ve nev­er had Grenache before!”, which is gen­er­al­ly fol­lowed by, ​“wow, this is deli­cious!”. Grenache is a cor­ner­stone of our port­fo­lio with over 35 acres plant­ed on our two vine­yards in Bal­lard Canyon AVA and Los Olivos Dis­trict AVA.

Wine crit­ics Tom Mar­quardt and Patrick Darr recent­ly wrote an arti­cle about this under­rat­ed grape, first pub­lished in the Cap­i­tal Gazette and lat­er picked up by the Los Ange­les Times.
