Committed to Biodynamic Farming
As the first biodynamically farmed vineyard in Santa Barbara County, we focus on what counts: growing great grapes. We go beyond organic farming by treating the farm as a living organism, avoiding the use of herbicides, insecticides, pesticides, or nitrogen based fertilizer in our vineyards.

Beckmen Cover Crop
Every winter at Beckmen Vineyards, after the last fruit has been pressed and the barrels are resting in the cellar, we turn our attention back to the soil. Between each row of vines, we plant a biodiverse mix of seeds — our cover crop—to nourish the earth that sustains every vintage.
