Tropical fruits of mangos, pineapple, banana and passionfruit mingle with stone fruits of apricot and nectarine in this terrific release. Sweet but never heavy in the mouth, the wine has tremendous acidity that balances the sweetness keeping the wine light on its feet. A tremendous effort from our winemaking team, enjoy this wine over the next 30+ years.

There’s an exciting wash of rainy concrete minerality to the nose of this bottling that pairs well with the kick of riper peach. The palate is quite taut in texture, surrounding lime peel, grass, honeysuckle and crisp nectarine flavors. — Matt Kettmann

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Santa Ynez Valley is a gorgeous wine that marries varietal character with an extra bit of textural richness that is typical of the year. Citrus confit, tomato leaf, sage, dried herbs and jasmine are beautifully delineated. This is impeccably done. Drinking window: 2023 — 2027.
