2018 Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc

Tropical fruits of mangos, pineapple, banana and passionfruit mingle with stone fruits of apricot and nectarine in this terrific release. Sweet but never heavy in the mouth, the wine has tremendous acidity that balances the sweetness keeping the wine light on its feet. A tremendous effort from our winemaking team, enjoy this wine over the next 30+ years.

    There’s an excit­ing wash of rainy con­crete min­er­al­i­ty to the nose of this bot­tling that pairs well with the kick of riper peach. The palate is quite taut in tex­ture, sur­round­ing lime peel, grass, hon­ey­suck­le and crisp nec­tarine fla­vors. — Matt Kettmann

    The 2022 Sauvi­gnon Blanc San­ta Ynez Val­ley is a gor­geous wine that mar­ries vari­etal char­ac­ter with an extra bit of tex­tur­al rich­ness that is typ­i­cal of the year. Cit­rus con­fit, toma­to leaf, sage, dried herbs and jas­mine are beau­ti­ful­ly delin­eat­ed. This is impec­ca­bly done. Drink­ing win­dow: 2023 — 2027.
