2019 TLB Los Olivos District

Dense, penetrating aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, mocha, earth, and chocolate are complex and layered in the 2019 TLB. The mouth is dark and dense as the 85% Cabernet fruit mixes with the 15% Syrah, showing rich notes of plum, blackberry, chocolate, menthol, and a hint of spice.     The 2019 Red Wine, 85% Caber­net Sauvi­gnon and 15% Syrah, is com­pelling. It offers up a com­pelling mix of dark red fruit, spice, leather, tobac­co and dried herbs. A wine of explo­sive ener­gy and con­sid­er­able beau­ty, the TLB is so expres­sive today. Even with all its obvi­ous pow­er, the TLB retains a mid-weight sense of struc­ture. It is anoth­er huge­ly appeal­ing wine in this range from Steve Beckmen.
