2022 Barrel Select Cuvee
Reaching back to our past, the '22 BSC is a true GSM. The Grenache leads the way keeping the fruit profile brighter and the palette more elegant than the previous few vintages of this wine. Beautiful aromas and flavors of dark cherry, raspberry, white pepper, dark chocolate and bakers spice glide across the mouth and with soft tannins that carry the fruit and spice on the long finish. This wine perfectly shows the heat of the vintage and the cooler conditions during harvest with big up-front fruit and flavor with an elegant mouthfeel and nice balancing acidity. Drinking beautifully upon release, the '22 BSC should age gracefully for the next 12-15 years.
