2022 Chardonnay Purisima Mountain Vineyard
The 2022 vintage was ideal for our Chardonnay which sits atop Purisima Mountain on the northeast side, planted in clay soils on top of a large layer of chalky limestone. Classic aromas and flavors of candied lemon, yellow apple, citrus blossom, and mineral are focused and brisk. The wine is balanced by terrific acidity and very moderate alcohol and can be enjoyed for the next decade or more. This is a fantastic vintage for our Chardonnay!
